We are proud to add Catamaran Skimmer with seasoned crew Peter and Colleen Leube, previous crew on various successful charter catamarans, to our fleet of crewed charter yachts.
Yacht Skimmer left on the Cape to Rio yacht race on the first day of 2017. The yacht was built new in South Africa and the crew is bringing her all the way to the BVI whilst competing in this prestigious race.

I can relate to the joy and pride crossing over the finish line in Rio de Janeiro after sailing the grueling race from Cape Town across the Southern Atlantic in only 17 days and 22 hrs. We were not as fortunate to sail on such a luxury spacious catamaran as “Skimmer”. We finally arrived in Rio after 27 days on a tiny 30 foot mono-hull. Yes, it was probably a crazy stunt, but that is what true sailors do. Then they become professional charter yacht captains and end up in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.

Once “Skimmer” arrive in the BVI after her delivery from SA, she will begin her charter season in the Caribbean. Peter and Colleen have been chartering in the Caribbean for many years on various charter boats and have even owned Yacht Madiba, which was in the charter fleet until recently when she was sold.
Yacht Skimmer is a brand new Two Oceans 77 foot luxury catamaran which can accommodate 8 guests in style. There are 2 guest aft cabins with King beds, 1 guest cabin with King bed, 1 guest cabin with Queen bed and they all have en-suite bathrooms. There is a large flybridge to enjoy the Caribbean breezes and a spacious area for dining and relaxing. The yacht will also be offering SCUBA diving.
Welcome back Peter and Colleen. The BVI has missed you!
