Crewed charter yacht “PLAYTIME” recently changed crew and Tyler and Kelsey look forward to having you onboard for a fun week sailing in the gorgeous British Virgin Islands. We met with them in November at the annual boat show in Tortola and booked a charter with them on a previous boat and the guests loved them. It is always nice to get good feedback from the clients and we strive to provide the best options for you and your charter group.
Tyler and Kelsey will make you feel welcome the minute you step on board the yacht. They even have a pet fish on board named “BubbleO7”. They are an experienced crew who have worked together on yachts, which has bound them together. They both have a passion for cooking, sailing and diving.
Tyler is a dive instructor and diving courses are offered during your charter. Please enquire for details. Captain Tyler is from North Carolina, where he grew up kayaking and rafting along the lakes and rivers. His love for water came early in life, even becoming SCUBA certified at age 10! He also loves cooking and can serve up a real Southern style dish. Captain/mate Kelsey is a fun loving person with a positive spirit. She is from Canada and in college played on the women’s Division 1 hockey team. Kelsey is also a master captain with a 100 ton license. She has sailed from Canada, down the East Coast of the USA to the Caribbean.
Playtime is a 56 foot catamaran with an amazing width of 31 feet offering stability and quality sailing. She is the winner of the Best Multihull at the 2015 BVI Boat Show. Lagoon pioneered the addition of the “flybridge” which gives the yacht another level of space for guests to enjoy while sailing and at anchor. This area is completely covered with shade. There is also forward couch seating near the bow of the yacht to relax while sailing. 8 guests in spacious cabins have en-suite showers and dry heads. The master cabin offers it’s own entrance on the stern of the yacht. Playtime is a great choice for your next family vacation.
