  PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • VAT and taxes
  • All other daily expenses will be covered with an Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA). This is typically 25%-40% of the charter fee, which can vary according to the yacht type, itinerary, and possible charter requests and requirements. The APA payment is collected with the final balance
  • APA expenses include fuel for both the yacht and tender, provisions, marina fees, moorings, airport transfers, cruising permits, canal fees, scuba diving, onshore excursions, electronic communications, and local taxes
  • Your yacht will be fully fuelled and provisioned, according to your preferences, when you step onboard. The Captain will keep all receipts, along with a running log of expenses, which can be viewed at any time during your charter
  • Any APA that has not been spent will be returned to you at the end of the charter. If expenses exceed the APA during your charter, additional funds will need to be submitted. Your captain will update and advise you if any further payment is required. This will need to be paid before you disembark
  • Crew Gratuity is separate and is typically 10%-15% of the charter rate. This should be given to your captain at the end of your charter

• Crew

  CAPTAIN JAKE

  Jake grew up in London where his love for outdoor activities formed both his personal development and his professional path. He worked as a landscape gardener for multiple years before discovering his sailing career which taught him both strong work habits and precise attention to detail through operating machinery and manual garden design.

  Jake discovered sailing on the south coast of England during his early twenties and immediately developed a deep affection for maritime life. After obtaining his Yacht Master Offshore certification in 2018 he began his professional yachting career which has led him to explore the Mediterranean and Caribbean as well as French Polynesia and the UK. His charter experience includes leading skipper and route management roles for flotilla companies and he regularly captains boats between seasonal destinations.

  Almosta Road benefits from Jake’s peaceful demeanor combined with his skilled and assured leadership style. His love for adventure goes beyond sailing because he spends his free time racing enduro motorcycles in European mountains and playing football with his hometown team and diving and waterskiing and traveling whenever possible. Jake welcomes every guest aboard with a sense of safety and readiness for an unforgettable journey regardless of their chartering experience level.

  CHEF MOLLIE

  Mollie brings creativity and precision and heart to every task she performs in the galley because of her diverse background in performing arts and fitness and entrepreneurship and her expanding interest in global cuisine.

  Mollie started her culinary adventure in Mexico where she worked as a dancer and acrobat and flying trapeze instructor. She discovered her passion for using fresh local ingredients while experiencing bold vibrant flavors such as lime chili and garlic during her time in Mexico. Her homemade guacamole gained popularity among friends and colleagues which led her to begin her culinary career.

  Mollie moved to Australia to study sports and exercise science before establishing a performance center for strength sports with her business partner. She transitioned to hospitality after working as front-of-house manager at a vegan and gluten-free herbal bar to develop menus and lead a creative team while creating unique cocktails and building her leadership and innovation abilities.

  The yachting industry attracted her because it united her love of food preparation with her passion for ocean travel. Mollie has worked as deckhand and stewardess and chef on motor yachts and sailing catamarans during her time at sea. Her travels to more than 50 countries allowed her to learn about different cuisines which she uses to create dishes that combine international flavors with genuine authenticity.

  Mollie prepares meals in Almosta Road’s galley using fresh ingredients of high quality alongside nutritious food and artistic presentation. The meals she prepares at Almosta Road serve to provide nourishment and pleasure and enhance the charter experience through her creative breakfast bowls and elaborate dinner services.

  A Week We Will Never Forget

  Thanks for everything. It was a week we will never forget. Our family had a dreamy week. The crew were the most wonderful hosts, catering to our every need in the most comfortable, gracious manner. The boat accommodated us all so comfortably and was perfectly appointed so that we could take full advantage of relaxing among the natural beauty around us. We were so well taken care of from start to finish, from our fabulous itinerary, our sails, our excursions, and the amazing food and drinks, it was a week we will never forget. We are already thinking of when we get back on board with you!
