Plus Expenses or APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance)

The charter rate shown includes the use of the charter yacht, professional crew and onboard equipment.

All other daily expenses, that are not included in the base rate, will be covered with an Advanced Provisioning Payment (APA). This is collected before the charter commences.

APA expenses include fuel for both the yacht and tender, provisions, dockage, moorings, airport transfers, cruising permits and taxes, scuba diving and onshore excursions.

The APA payment is typically 20%-25% of the base charter rate for sailing yachts and 30%-35% for motor yachts. Your captain will purchase provisions, taxes, fuel etc for the charter using the APA and will keep all receipts along with a running log of expenses. This can be viewed at any time during your charter.

Any APA that has not been spent will be returned to you at the end of the charter. If during the charter, expenses exceed the APA, additional funds will need to be submitted. Your captain will update and advise you if any further payment is required. This will need to be paid before you disembark.

Crew Gratuity is separate and is typically 15%-20% of the charter rate. This should be given to your captain at the end of your charter.

Fantastic

Our cruise on Crazy Horse was fantastic!! The crew are a group of the kindest, most caring, attentive, humorous and wonderful people we have had the pleasure of meeting the boat is very comfortable and practical and perfectly suited to a cruise around the Greek Islands, led by a captain who is a true gentleman. The chef is first class and cooked a diverse variety of outstanding meals. All the crew provided us with a perfect service and even taught us to how to dance to Zorba!!!! This is the first time I have chartered a catamaran and the crew from Crazy Horse made it very memorable. Thank you so much.

Wonderful Vacation

Our group of three couples spent seven glorious days aboard Koukles touring the Cyclades to celebrate our 40th anniversary. This Italian-designed yacht is a floating luxury hotel, beautifully appointed: from curated bath amenities to daily pressed table linens and towels to comfortable beds with generous pillows and well-equipped cabins including televisions.
We stopped at five islands, several smaller islands and some larger with charming ports, such as Naoussa on Paros. We enjoyed the natural moorings especially at Iraklia for private coves with crystal clear waters to swim and use the various water toys (our favorite was the SeaBob!)
The best part was Koukles’ amazing crew. They anticipated our every need, keeping our cabins spotless, navigating to calm waters to ensure our comfort, suggesting itineraries and excursions with guides while in port, and coordinating our travel arrangements before and after leaving Koukles.
And we were fed like kings. Fresh seafood such as lobster pasta and large prawns, glorious Greek salads, and local favorite dishes are expertly prepared and seasoned with fresh herbs. Our chef gets stars from all of us!
The steward catered superbly to our every need, from cocktails to laundry to protecting us from the wind and serving us elegantly at mealtimes.
The crew also planned and surprised us with a 40th-anniversary party complete with cake sparklers balloons and champagne. It was a warm and thoughtful approach, as with everything else.
Captain is an experienced navigator, of the seas and of his guests. We were made to feel so comfortable and enchanted by this trip that we hated to leave him, the crew, and Koukles. We highly recommend Koukles for a wonderful vacation in the Greek islands.

Great Time

We had a great time on the Star Link. The yacht was beautiful and really practical especially the dining table and sundeck on top deck with covering was used often. It is so nice to have dinner on top deck because of the view! Crew was great and very helpful . The chef made the most excellent food with every day a Greek touch really great!
Choosing the saronic sea was beautiful, nice calm bays and the picturesque towns of Hydra and Spetses stoke our hearts. Also Navplion and Poros was great. Thank you.

Thank you for a great vacation! Your incredible service and warm-hearted attitude were the real jewels of this trip. All things come from the minds of people, and you with your kindness and generosity have proven once more that attitude is everything. I wish to write here also with our deepest respect for the captain, his high level of professional boat skills, to the amazing boat chef who is a real magician, and to our divine hostess who can do anything with a pure smile.

Thank you so much for your kindness and attention. Don’t change a thing you are absolutely brilliant and made our stay on Jenny, so comfortable and pleasant Everything you did for us, always with a smile.

Unforgettable

Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip, for all the beautiful places, and the amazing staff. We loved it all. it was our first time on board, but it was unforgettable. Love the water-sports, especially the Sea Bob. The combination of the water-sports, sailing and sightseeing on the islands was great. Thanks again.

Perfect

Going on Namaste for a week was the perfect end of our vacation before heading back to New York. Perfect food, trip, service. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew! We couldn’t figure out how chef was able to host breakfast, lunch, dinner and with all such amazing skills. Captain, apart from his sailing skills we had the pleasure of enjoying his amazing personality. My son Joe is never gonna be the same with other water toys because he is now an expert on the Sea Bob all under your supervision. Thank you. Hopefully we can be on Namaste next summer.

Unforgettable Week

This was a wonderfully perfect trip for our group of nine, several of whom had never been met by me. Your gentle suggestions, care, attention to our every need and desire and warm personalities made us feel wonderfully relaxed and amazed at every one of our port stops, not to mention young again, as we played during our swim stop with you. SeaBobs, sea wings, dingy and waterskis. All other guests have commented that the meals were all spectacularly, delicious. We even enjoyed food us food types that we had been avoiding as we were not sure we would like them. All of us wanted to stay with you all forever, you made us all feel like part of your family. We will each cherished our conversations with you and be thinking of you long after our goodbyes tomorrow. Warmest thanks for making this an unforgettable week.

Great Week

We are very grateful for the kindness and consideration we have had from the crew this week. From the moment we met, they have been so welcoming. They have been understanding of our disabled son and have made it fun for all of us. Chef - what amazing food and a kind heart you have. Nicola was loving her swim and cooking sessions with you. Captain - The man who can find the best places with the least fuss. Stewardess - Thank you for being so patient with us. Thank you all for a great week.

Better Than I Ever Expected

Captain is the finest captain I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in all the years I have been coming to Greece. Competent, and knowledgeable of the area, the islands, and the best places onshore. The chef kept everything organized, and fun and enjoyed playing with the two little ones (3yrs and 9yrs). But above all a fantastic chef. Better than I ever expected, knowing how to use local ingredients, healthy and even gluten-free. Thank you so much.
