Anton is the Captain of Amarea, bringing decades of seafaring experience and a deep knowledge of Mediterranean waters, particularly the Greek Islands. Since 2001, he has held key positions ranging from First Mate to Skipper on a variety of sailing and motor yachts, including traditional Greek kaikis, large schooners, and modern catamarans. His extensive experience encompasses navigation, vessel maintenance, deck operations, mooring, tender driving, and engineering duties, ensuring smooth and safe operations in all conditions.
Anton holds an RYA Offshore Master 200gt certificate, a sailing diploma, and an open water diving certification, and he possesses a Cypriot Merchant Sailors Book. Fluent in Russian, very good in Greek, and proficient in English, he combines strong leadership with excellent communication — creating a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for crew and guests alike. His long-standing career, from delivering new vessels across Europe to managing charter operations in the Mediterranean, reflects his dedication, versatility, and deep passion for sailing.

Ventsislav is the private chef aboard Amarea, bringing a wealth of international culinary experience and a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Trained at a leading culinary academy in Sofia, he has honed his skills across high-end kitchens throughout Europe and the United States, progressing into senior roles where he has led teams and designed diverse, guest-focused menus.
Known for his attention to detail, his flair in the hot kitchen, and his ability to balance refined flavors with beautifully presented dishes, Ventsislav tailors every meal to the preferences of his guests — from fresh Greek-inspired spreads at anchor to elegant multi-course dinners under the stars. Warm, approachable, and always aiming to exceed expectations, he makes every dining experience aboard Amarea a highlight of the voyage.

Magdalena is an experienced Hostess aboard Amarea, bringing a strong background in customer service and a genuine passion for guest comfort and satisfaction. With yacht hospitality experience complemented by her work in prestigious restaurants and hotels along the French Riviera, she excels at creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere onboard.
Fluent in French and English, Magdalena’s adaptability, attention to detail, and warm interpersonal skills ensure every guest feels genuinely cared for — from the first welcome aboard to the final farewell at the dock.
