CAPTAIN BOŽO PAVLOVIĆ
With a degree from the University of Physical Education and Sport, majoring in SAILING, Bozo can teach you everything about the skill and art of sailing. During his student time, Bozo supported himself working as a skipper on different yachts up to 50 ft, gaining experience.
Last few winters, Bozo was employed as a Physical Education teacher in an elementary school in his hometown of Ploce, Croatia.
Captain Bozo loves his job and takes pride in his work. He is extremely hard-working, displaying both a committed and flexible approach with strong people skills. He has an outgoing personality, is good with children, and always has a great disposition. His interests include sports, traveling, and underwater photography.
CHEF MARKO
Chef Marko Matei was born in Zagreb in 1980. Although with no formal education, driven by his passion, Marko Matei managed to form himself into a personal chef with admirable experience. He is a highly driven and well-versed chef passionate about creating innovative dishes focusing on local, organically produced ingredients.
Marko is an out-of-the-box thinker, delivering exceptional culinary service efficiently, yet still not compromising the authenticity of the sailing area.
Due to his experience working as a personal and private chef, Chef Matei gained profound knowledge of plating simple food and fine dining, interestingly and attractively. Having Chef Matei onboard means enjoying a curated selection of gourmet meals multiple times a day.
From menu customization to preparing and serving exquisite dishes, Matei strives for culinary excellence, ensuring that each client on board AHALYA receives a unique dining experience.
STEWARDESS MARINA
Marina Andrijasevic was born in Zagreb, Croatia. From her early age, she was drawn to the art of food preparation and didn’t take long before she was pulled in and is still mesmerized by it. Being a visual person, Marina makes everything prettier, whether it is the meals she prepares, the drinks she serves, or making the yacht clean and tidy. Fluent in English, Marina is happy to share with our guests her knowledge about Croatian history, art & design, whether traditional or contemporary. Her interests include product design, gardening, photography, and most of all, cooking and exploring local cuisines. Marina joined our team in 2016 as the stewardess/chef aboard s/y Lagoon 560 Arctic Queen, and quickly adjusted to the strict regime of living and working on the sea. She is hard-working and has an eye for detail. Later, she joined the crew on board Lagoon 620 Opal and Sunreef 50 SOLITAIRE. Marina is fluent in English & Italian. She is a Bachelor of Visual Communication & Graphic Design, graduated from the Academia Italiana/Firenze. Marina’s mission is to make your holiday onboard AHALYA the best you’ve ever had.
