CAPTAIN ADRIAN
Cape Town, South Africa, is where Captain Adrian was born and raised, and he spent most of his childhood playing in the ocean. He says that he has always had a connection with water. He enjoys racing Hobie Cats, and he wakesurfs on lakes. He also enjoys free diving in the sea and fly fishing in mountain streams. His passion for sailing made him skip the traditional university path and instead go for the RYA Yacht Master certification.
When Adrian worked in the superyacht industry, he wanted to feel more connected to the sea. He began captaining catamarans in the Mediterranean. He soon became the Route Manager, which involved the management of up to 80 vessels, 800 guests, and 160 crew each week. In search of new experiences, Adrian sailed to the Caribbean. He decided that the clear waters and the colorful marine life of the Virgin Islands were beautiful.
Altogether, Adrian has over 9 years’ experience and 30,000 nautical miles under his belt, and he loves to share his knowledge with guests. Adrian wants to make your charter experience perfect. You can have fun at the Soggy Dollar Bar or relax on Guana’s calm shores. He pays attention to both the up and downstream activities.
CHEF EMMA
Emma was brought up in the Natal Midlands, South Africa, and she spent her childhood in outdoor games. Chef, her mom, and water enthusiast, her dad, are the ones who influenced Emma to choose a career at sea. When Emma was in university, she spent her free time learning to cook with top chefs. She also helped at soup kitchens and had small businesses selling ready-made meals.
Her passion for health led her to train as a Sports Nutritionist and Personal Trainer. This knowledge helped her to encourage people to change their lifestyle and live a healthier life. After completing her degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Emma began her career in hospitals. One day, she decided to change from hospital shoes to flip-flops, and after that, there was no way back. She keeps on wearing her Crocs, though.
As a child, Emma was always fascinated by food and its connection to people’s lives, a passion influenced by her parents’ love for cooking and entertaining. While growing up, Emma developed a passion for cooking and often organized potluck dinners with her schoolmates using ingredients she had plucked from her backyard. Her love for food and entertaining stemmed from a young age. She also believed that food brings people together, regardless of their cultural differences.
Emma’s dedication to helping others led her to pursue a career in hospitality, where she could use her culinary skills to make guests feel welcome and cared for. Emma has been inspired by her travels to create dishes that celebrate the flavors of the places she has visited while using locally sourced ingredients to craft global recipes. She can always make everyone feel at home with the food she prepares for the table. People always say that it feels like they are eating at a friend’s house when they eat her food because of her warm personality.

DECKHAND/SCUBA INSTRUCTOR GEORGINA
Born and raised in sunny South Africa, Georgina’s love for the ocean began at a young age. After qualifying as a professional Scuba Instructor, she spent her early career exploring the underwater world and sharing it with others—an experience that sparked a deep passion not only for the sea, but for exceptional guest experiences.
Now in her yachting era, Georgina brings her adventurous spirit and dedication to service to every charter. Whether she’s guiding guests on unforgettable dives, keeping the exterior looking its best, or entertaining the little ones onboard, she does it all with a smile and a can-do attitude. Her warm, approachable nature makes her a favorite among guests, and her background in diving brings an exciting edge to your time onboard.
Georgina is all about making memories—both above and below the surface—and prides herself on creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels cared for and catered to.
