  • The charter rate shown includes the use of the charter yacht, professional crew, and onboard equipment

  PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • VAT and taxes
  • All other daily expenses will be covered with an Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA). This is typically 25%-40% of the charter fee, which can vary according to the yacht type, itinerary, and possible charter requests and requirements. The APA payment is collected with the final balance
  • APA expenses include fuel for both the yacht and tender, provisions, marina fees, moorings, airport transfers, cruising permits, canal fees, scuba diving, onshore excursions, electronic communications, and local taxes
  • Your yacht will be fully fuelled and provisioned, according to your preferences, when you step onboard. The Captain will keep all receipts, along with a running log of expenses, which can be viewed at any time during your charter
  • Any APA that has not been spent will be returned to you at the end of the charter. If expenses exceed the APA during your charter, additional funds will need to be submitted. Your captain will update and advise you if any further payment is required. This will need to be paid before you disembark
  • Crew Gratuity is separate and is typically 10%-15% of the charter rate. This should be given to your captain at the end of your charter

  Captain Vasilis, born in Patras in 1981, brings extensive maritime experience to S/Y Sahana. With a seafaring career spanning over two decades, he has been working as a Captain since 2008, demonstrating exceptional leadership and navigational skills. His deep knowledge of the sea and the Greek islands, combined with a strong commitment to safety and guest satisfaction, ensures a smooth and enjoyable yachting experience. Fluent in both Greek and English, Captain Vasilis effortlessly communicates with international guests and crew, fostering a welcoming and professional environment on board. His passion for the ocean and dedication to excellence make him a valued leader on Sahana.

  CHEF ELENA

  Elena is the vibrant Chef on board Sahana. With years of experience in fast-paced kitchens across Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Spain, and Dubai, she knows exactly how to turn a holiday into a full sensory experience. Calm under pressure and always smiling in the galley, Elena works effortlessly with the crew to ensure guests enjoy relaxed, seamless dining from breakfast through sunset dinners. She takes pride in immaculate hygiene, an organized workspace, and expertly handling a wide range of professional kitchen equipment, all while delivering dishes right on time. Deeply passionate about Greek gastronomy, Elena absolutely adores Mediterranean cuisine and is happily obsessed with using fresh, local ingredients that reflect the flavors of each destination. Her cooking is all about sharing joy, comfort, and authenticity, perfect for life at sea. Fluent in English and Greek, Elena brings warmth, creativity, and a true holiday spirit to every plate, making each meal on board Sahana something to look forward to.

  DECKHAND/STEWARD STEFANOS

  Stefanos serves as Stew/Deckhand on board Sahana, bringing a strong understanding of sea conditions and a highly professional attitude to daily yacht operations. As an active sailing athlete, he possesses excellent seamanship skills and a natural awareness of the marine environment, allowing him to anticipate changing conditions and support the vessel’s safe and efficient operation. Stefanos places great emphasis on safety, teamwork, and delivering attentive customer service, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their time on board. His experience in demanding tourism environments has strengthened his ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining high service standards and smooth deck operations. Whether assisting with deck duties, supporting guest activities, or contributing to the overall upkeep and organization of the yacht, Stefanos approaches every task with dedication and reliability. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing a seamless onboard experience make him a valuable member of the crew.
