  • BVI individual fishing permits
  • Rendezvous diving and other sports activities ashore
  • Crew gratuity; 15-20% of the charter cost

• Crew

  CAPTAIN RÚBRIO & CHEF/MATE LIZA

  We are an experienced, active and fun captain and chef team who love hosting, sailing, water sports, and health & well being. Rúbrio is a born sailor with 20 years charter experience and Liza has grown fast into a professional chef over the past years.
  After working together on Lucky B, a S/Y Hylas 70, including an Atlantic crossing, and finishing a full season in the Caribbean on Respite At Sea, a Lagoon 56, we are excited for the upcoming season on True Story. Rúbrio is a friendly professional captain who is outgoing and entertaining with guests of all ages and cultures. He has 20 years of experience in the charter business and has been sailing since he could swim. He is skilled in all aspects of yacht management, such as engineering, mechanics, electrics, hydraulics and rigging servicing. In addition, he is a watersports instructor and enthusiast. Rúbrio is passionate about providing guests with the holiday of their lives, which comes naturally to him.

  Liza’s love for sailing started at a young age, spending summers on her parents’ sailboat. After a decade long corporate career, Liza decided to change course and move into yachting. She has finished several cooking and sailing courses, worked in Michelin recognized restaurants and finished a charter season in the med and in the Caribbean. Liza is a true believer that the way to people’s hearts is through their stomachs. Liza is excited to take her hosting and cooking experience into the next charter season on True Story.

  Just Relax and Enjoy

  Thank you for a truly amazing week on True Story! It's been perfect in every way...fun relaxing, and great food!!!
  You have thought of everything - all we had to do was relax and enjoy!
  As you know our True Story trip almost didn't happen as our oldest daughter and her husband canceled for a great reason. Now we all can't wait to come back to stay with you on True Story next year with all the family including the blessing of a new baby granddaughter too!

  Unforgettable

  Thank you so much for such a memorable Christmas vacation! The food was outstanding and I can't pick which meal was my favorite. You took us to some beautiful places and we can't wait to visit again! Thank you for introducing Ryan to "new" fruits and vegetables and fixing Wang after we broke him :) This was an unforgettable trip and it wouldn't have been possible without the two of you!
