• Crew

  CAPTAIN NIK & CHEF/MATE LILY

  Growing up just outside London, Nik was captivated by the food scene that surrounded him. This led to him training as a chef and working in various roles within hospitality at some of the capital’s most prestigious restaurants and hotels. Nik’s sailing career started in dinghies, sailing in lakes, and braving the elements along the UK’s coast. As his passion developed so did his desire for a slightly warmer climate which led him to Greece and slightly bigger boats. Whilst in Greece and the Med, Nik married his love for hospitality and sailing. Working as a flotilla skipper and charter skipper exposed him to an array of different yachts and destinations. More recently Nik has been back in the UK putting his experience to good use training new sailors and running adventure cruises.

  Nik has a real love for the sea and the unique perspective that sailing gives. He is as much at home in the sea doing water sports as he is exploring the shores. You can expect him to uncover the local haunts for excursions ashore and drop the hook in bays that provide the perfect backdrop for sunset cocktails.

  Growing up close to London, Lily was born with a passion for cooking, influenced by the chefs in her family and her travels around the world. She pursued a career as a private chef on yachts after completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geographical Sciences and Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Bristol, in the United Kingdom. As a manager at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships for 5 years, Lily also enjoys hosting and has a high standard for guest interactions.

  When it comes to her creativity in the kitchen, she enjoys incorporating fresh local ingredients and loves immersing herself in culture. She has signature dishes that are heavily influenced by her travels to Mexico, Italy, and Spain. Lily isn’t afraid to merge local, sometimes exotic ingredients into her dishes. Making her style unique, and giving her an ever-expanding menu.

  Truly the Best

  What a week! This is our second trip aboard and it WILL NOT BE OUR LAST!  We had such a blast.  It was amazing to see the crew in a completely different element from when I came aboard with my family and how well they adapted to the different atmosphere of our group.  Chef our food & service is beyond! You have such an amazing talent.  I can't decide what meal was my favorite as they just kept shocking me.  Captain you were such a trouper putting up with us girls.  You kept us safe, informed, and so entertained.  WE LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE!  You both are truly the best and we love spending the week with you both.

  You are AMAZING!  Everything was so beyond our expectations from the itinerary, cocktails, and of course the food.  Chef you are such an amazing chef and I look forward to following along with your amazing journey.  The boat is incredible, so much more room than I anticipated.  Captain your personality made the trip for me.  Best ab workout of my life this week from the laughter.  Your hospitality made this trip one we will never forget.  I can't wait to come back!

  Best Trip Ever

  This was one of the best trips we have ever been on. The service and kindness of the crew, the day to day experience, the absolute delicious food was amazing.... We have all made new friends and created beautiful memories to hold deer. We are so excited we shared our love for shelling with Y'all. Truly an amazing experience.   Fabulous Week

  Thank you for a fabulous week. Great times doesn’t even really begin to describe the experience. Your willingness to share your version of heaven has been eye opening! For a kid from the deserts of the west I’ve never experienced what the sea has to offer. Thank you for showing me a world I didn’t understand or really knew existed. I am no sailor, but feel somewhat accomplished in the basics. Thank you all for an incredible experience. Cheers to the opportunity to do it sooner rather than later.

  Exceeded All Expectations

  Our entire experience booking and sailing on Location was awesome! Amazing adventure in The Bahamas with the best team out there. Captain goes above and beyond to making sure all gave a memorable trip, from beautiful scenery, swimming with sharks, snorkelling, swimming with the pigs, wake boarding and tubing. Chef prepared amazing meals… each and every day was the “best one”! You have exceeded all expectations and can not say enough. What a super, fantastic time we have had with you. We played games and learned some new ones. The kiddos will remember this trip forever. Location is our favourite catamaran trip.

  Magical Adventure

  We can't thank you enough for leading us on such a magical adventure in the Bahamas. The boat was beautiful, the weather amazing, and the sights completely beautiful, but it may be the sincere energy, enthusiasm, and kindness from the two of you that we remember and appreciate the most. We recognize all the preparation and effort it takes to deliver such wonderful food and exciting excursions - you guys do it all with grace and provide such lovely company all the while, even when we threw curve balls like lost luggage and had to reach friends.   Amazing

  We just had the time of our lives and cant say what my favourite activity was. It was amazing. But I can say that captain and chef made it the best. We are sad to leave but feel like we added to our family. If ever in Utah please visit us!
