CHARTER ON A YACHT FOR THE DIVING ADVENTURES OF YOUR DREAMS
The British and US Virgin Islands and the Bahamas offer some of the Caribbean’s best SCUBA diving. Famous dives such as the Wreck of the Rhone, Angelfish Reef, Danger Reef, Wreck Alley, and Jeep Reef are just a few examples. Clients get to dive right from the stern of the boat with dive masters/instructors on board. You have to bring proof of your SCUBA diving certification. If you have not been diving in a while, you may wish to complete a refresher course, which can be done at a resort before your yacht charter vacation.
The yacht offers various diving courses, including Discover SCUBA, for those wishing to try before committing to a full Open Water dive course. Rendezvous diving is offered by other boats (a dive company will meet you at anchor, and you transfer to their fully equipped dive boat), and some yachts even hook you up with a dive instructor for a certification course.
Most of the charter yachts servicing the Mediterranean destinations offer rendezvous SCUBA diving.

We just finished 8 nights aboard the incredible yacht Aeolus and with the most amazing crew. A huge huge Thank you to the crew for all their efforts and attention to detail.
There were 8 of us on board, not including the 4 crew. We had 4 teenagers and 4 parents. We all had the time of a lifetime. The layout of the boat is perfect with 4 very nice guest cabins and ensuite heads; with the Master being just huge and spacious. From the most wonderful welcome on board and delicious lunch for all, we knew instantly we were in for a treat.
The captain-is simply awesome!! He has a deliberate, calm and thoughtful manor which inspires confidence and underplays his abilities. He expertly managed to drive the yacht into tight gorgeous anchor spots, to set our sails in all conditions, to fix any little thing that needed a fix. Most importantly, he's great to be around and share his knowledge of anything. ((there are some fun hidden secrets about him... try to find out on board...) He set a very thoughtful itinerary and planned some amazing surprises for us...
The chef: WOW! We weren't an easy group to please with 4 teenagers but I think they gobbled everything down. They ate vegetables--all of them!!! She very carefully and thoughtfully prepared a menu for us and had amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners with an incredible snack/happy hour. The kids looked forward to each meal everyday, but somehow happy hour snack became the talk of the afternoon...everyone excited to see what amazing snack would magically appear. She hand made our favorite deserts once she discovered them and each night we were treated to this amazing feast. Everyday we had chef made breads that were incredible, unbelievable fruit platters, the most delicious lunches and dinners all the while she made any request feel like it was just nothing. She's just simply better than any restaurant.
The stewardess: What does one write about this sweet, kind & wonderful person! She served us for 8 days, every little thing we needed and always with a big smile and kindness in her eyes. She made the most amazing cocktails and fruit juices--which all of us just loved. the kids drank GREEN fruit juices for breakfast, begging if she had more! GREEN ones.. OMG. They were so good. She planned fun games for us and is super creative. She is like the entire staff of a Four Seasons hotel all in one person.
The stew. He's a real life spiderman! We have never seen anyone more nibble and with more speed. Once it's time for all the toys--the magic begins. He's EVERYWHERE! Like 100 people, he has one speed--turbo. Not only does he set up an amazing array of toys and water rafts and all; but he's an expert in all the tough ones. He gently helped two of our group learn to e foil in 7 days and they were honestly experts by the end. He's a master at all the fun stuff--an expert tender driver to pull the kids on tubes or whatever. (I think they were on the tube for hours every day and he kindly just kept going). The crew are expert scuba divers with the captain being able to lead discovery dives for first timers as well!
Bottom line... Aeolus is the YACHT to charter with this CREW. It's about the CREW! If you are looking for the most amazing trip, book it now. We are trying to figure out how to return next year... We can't even begin to thank you for the most spectacular trip! Everything was completely over the top. You all took such great care of us - so incredibly attentive, Kind and fun. We had such a memorable time – from floating down the mangroves, snorkeling with turtles, to your endless patience with fishing, to taking us to incredible snorkel spots, to whipping the boys around on the tube – the list goes on and on. To top it all off, we couldn't have felt more confident and secure scuba diving with you for our kids first time. everything you did was so thoughtful, capable, and fun.
Chef – we were all blown away by your meals not only how unbelievably delicious, but the presentation and decor was truly spectacular. Every meal was like eating at a five-star Michelin restaurant. Somehow in the midst of all of this, the boat was always immaculately clean, and we had cocktails in hand. We were all very spoiled by you both. The charter rate shown includes the use of the charter yacht, professional crew and onboard equipment.
All other daily expenses, that are not included in the base rate, will be covered with an Advanced Provisioning Payment (APA). This is collected before the charter commences.
APA expenses include fuel for both the yacht and tender, provisions, dockage, moorings, airport transfers, cruising permits and taxes, scuba diving and onshore excursions.
The APA payment is typically 20%-25% of the base charter rate for sailing yachts and 30%-35% for motor yachts. Your captain will purchase provisions, taxes, fuel etc for the charter using the APA and will keep all receipts along with a running log of expenses. This can be viewed at any time during your charter.
Any APA that has not been spent will be returned to you at the end of the charter. If during the charter, expenses exceed the APA, additional funds will need to be submitted. Your captain will update and advise you if any further payment is required. This will need to be paid before you disembark.

First week of the season!

A trip that exceeded all our expectations. We thought we’d spend a week with friends escaping the Ohio weather. It was exponentially more than that. Words cannot describe what an amazing trip this was on the Scuba Doo. Every day was special! Our first Christmas in The Caribbean! An amazing treat to spent it on board MyTy! We did it all. Diving, seabobing, Efoiling, paddle boarding, wake boarding, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, gaming, hiking, eating and drinking! What a fabulous way to spend a week with family. My daughter kept on me and my wife to book a trip. I was reluctant since we have and have had many boats. However, I have enjoyed this trip immensely! The cooking was amazing! We’ve just returned from what is by far the best vacation we’ve ever taken- six days on a sail catamaran in the British Virgin Islands. While the locale itself was spectacular, the trip was special because of the crew, themselves.
A party of nine including five teenage boys (!), we spoke with them before the trip about our interests and prior experiences. We immediately felt at ease with their Kiwi charm. They then planned a sail throughout the BVI, visiting some known and many not-so-known gems throughout the islands.
The boat itself was beautiful. Six cabins. Six bathrooms. Underwater scooters, powered hydrofoil, scuba, snorkeling, float ring, wakeboard, tubing, paddleboards, water golfing. Fresh herbs grown onboard. A charcoal grill. Sourdough bread baked fresh onboard each day. A projector and screen that allowed the Philles phanatic among us to catch Jhoan Duran’s debut on our last night. Full kitchen and bar. A friggin pizza oven.
The days were packed with adventure while somehow being relaxing and refreshing in a Caribbean sort of way. Captain is probably the most interesting man in the world: blue water sailor, nautical engineer, marine biologist, deep sea fisherman, dive master, cliff diver, rock climber, surfer, mixologist, barista, sourdough maker. He dove under the boat at night with a headlamp and screwdriver and fixed a generator. He literally bested a shark in hand to fin combat (look at their Instagram profile!).
Meanwhile, Chef is probably the only person on the planet who is Captain’s equal. She’s also the only person I’ve met in the past 25 years who made my wife actually admit that she cannot top something culinarily. I have no idea how she did it, but every single meal was unique and spectacular- and she took care of nine people for a week. She was also a sneaky enabler of Captain’s thrill-seeking (“18 year-old you would do that, Captain”).
Their most impressive feat is that they were able to captivate five teenage boys for six days. Their energy is boundless.
I’m out of superlatives. It rocked. We can’t thank them enough for this experience and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes awesome people and fun risks.

All 3 crew were fantastic. The meals were top-notch! The meals were varied, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented! All of our dietary requirements were met! Amazing!
