I wanted to let the experiences of our fantastic week onboard Tellstar to settle in before adding a personal note so the time has come to share some recollections of our charter. Even so I’m sure I’ll miss a few highlights. Let’s just start with our warm and welcoming greeting from the entire crew and our first view of the absolutely gorgeous Seventy7 Lagoon. Nothing short of a spectacular yacht – we didn’t know it yet but it didn’t take long for us to realize the crew was equally spectacular in their own rights. You all must be experienced at keeping your laughter under wraps to the land dwellers trying to find their sea legs but we had an especially challenging experience as the Christmas winds came late this year and we had pretty consistent winds in excess of 20 - 25 knots. Thank you for making us feel safe at all times.
Each of you have such individual talents but collectively – what a team! I loved when the chef sent the deckhand to a nearby yacht so he could have a moment of puppy time – nice and considerate to provide surprises to each other when the opportunity presents itself. And you never stop. We’re enjoying water activities while you are in the water keeping that yacht looking beautiful. We’re busy with breakfast and you’re all making up the cabins/likewise dinner and turning down the beds. So fun to walk out of my cabin to hear the crew having a very serious discussion on the table settings for the evening – humorous to me but just a simple example on how the details were important to you at every turn.
This was a family charter for guests with prior charter experience. Both the parents and the two boys thought the crew were phenomenal. They were all really in tune with the guests and understood what was needed, and not needed, to ensure they had exactly the type of service and experience they hoped. The chef’s meals were spot on each time for the adults and the boys. She did everything perfectly. She was everywhere taking care of them and the yacht. The deckhand was great with the boys and this was a very key element in everyone’s enjoyment. Scott had great praise for the captain and the way he managed every aspect of the entire program. The charter experience was ideal for the family and this was due in large part to the way the crew paid attention to the guest preference notes and to the telephone comments. Operating a charter yacht under the current conditions is a challenging task for captains and crews. The captain and his team pulled this one off in such a casual and yet professional and thorough manner that the guests were relaxed and at ease the entire charter. We were very impressed with ANGELEYES, the space, the décor the open feel, the excellent selection of watersports toys and especially with the yacht’s great condition and cleanliness.
A great indicator of a charter guest’s satisfaction is if they wish to return and if they recommend the yacht and crew to their friends. The crew exceeded expectations and the clients could not be happier. From the operational side we were extremely pleased with every aspect of the charter.
How can a few words possibly capture what a positive impact the you tow have made on our lives! We knew this week would be a life experience like no other, but we underestimated the amazing friendships we would develop with you both. We are so grateful that we got to experience this with as our incredible guides through the islands. Thank you both for all you did for us, but more importantly, thank you for who you are as people!
REVIEW FROM PREVIOUS YACHT: We cannot begin to thank you enough for an amazing trip. I am not ready to return to reality. But, knowing we can come back for another trip is comforting. It was a wonderful trip and wonderful to enjoy time with this wonderful crew!

The Tortuga was amazing and accommodations were perfect. Liked all the water toys (“the turtle”) paddle Boards, fishing gear, snorkeling and dive equipment. Amenities (including the AC) were just like a nice resort. Periodic freshening the linens and bathrooms during our trip was an added bonus. Each cove we spent time in was beautiful. Loved the St John scenery. Buck Island was amazing and the lighthouse and bird sanctuary were highlights. The two hikes we did were awesome and loved the white rock beach and petroglyphs.
The diving was epic. Extremely varied and colorful coral were plentiful along with the vibrant sea life. The snorkeling was some of the best we have seen with lots of variety at shallow depths making surface viewing very enjoyable. The wreck at Buck Island was truly memorable. We saw turtles, squid, octopus, eels tarpon, shrimp, rays and several barracuda that supervised several dives from 10’ away along with the normal suspects including angels, parrot fish, damsel fish and tangs. Jace is a patient dive master giving us plenty of time to linger with our GoPro. The chef’s menus were spectacular. Each meal was unique and different and the presentation was top notch including rotating colorful linen napkins and nice placemats. (Sorry about the tie dye one). Always using fresh ingredients and healthy meals. Loved our daily appetizers and drinks of the day or whatever we asked for (expresso martinis and mai tais) Fruit and Snacks were a hit too. We have become fans of Love City and Caribe and hope to find those in Atlanta. We loved sailing with with this crew. They operated our entire trip with ether utmost professionalism and competence.
They were extremely flexible with hikes and options for activities and constantly helping with equipment. They embody teamwork and collaboration. Very Service Oriented, relaxed and laid back. They pay extreme attention to details from the provision list to transportation. They anticipated our needs even when we didn’t know we needed it. The captain has got a great dry sense of humor that makes everyone laugh and smile. The chef is easy to work with and is full of knowledge. We are so thankful for an amazing week and the crew made it special. We will remember this incredible trip forever.
Thank you for the most amazing family trip. We are going home with many memories that we will forever cherish - from snorkelling with turtles, amazing hikes, beautiful beaches, tacos, pizza from both restaurants and of course the chef’s amazing meals. We will all never forget this wonderful sailing adventure!! We had such a great time, thank you for that wonderful experience. The amazing food gave us energy to do fun things, ❤️ 5 star review!!
The crew were amazing! My family and I were first timers and we are now counting down the days to our next trip! We adore them. Anything you want they will deliver on!! Can’t say enough about the trip, the boat and the crew!!
Tranquility is amazing. Has everything you would want on it and more. The bedroom layout with 2 rooms having twin beds helped us with our teenagers having a little more of their own space. The inside was beautiful, great for doing a movie night. We loved having every meal outside on the back of the boat, it was perfect. We loved all the areas of the boat that were there to relax and for amazing views while we sailed. The chairs on the very top were a favorite. The kids loved the hammock and the bean bag chairs that could be moved down to the trampolines or anywhere we wanted. The boat was absolutely perfect for our group of 11! The itinerary could not have been more perfect. We have been to the BVI many times before, so we had a few things that we really wanted to do. The captain incorporated those requests and we got to do everything on our list and the places he picked for us were absolutely amazing. It is so nice to be on a boat with a captain and crew that has sailed the BVI so often and is confident about the best places to go! The captain was outstanding! Everyday we discussed our plans and what we wanted to do, where we wanted to go, He helped cater this trip 100% to where and what we wanted to do. He spent endless time working with our certified divers to have the best experience, as well as getting our new divers into the water. And then finding a place for our non-divers to snorkel and have an amazing experience, too! He was so great with our group of 5 teenagers and keeping them busy on the tube and wakeboard. Our chef, was AMAZING! She had her work cut out for her with our group of 11 that ranged from people who would eat anything to the teenagers that were super picky. Everyday she worked with us to make sure everyone had something amazing to eat. The food was overall incredible, every single meal. She was on top of everything, constantly doing something to make our trip fantastic, especially the cocktails! She learned one of our group drinks a specific iced latte every morning and literally had it waiting for him everyday when he got up. The captain did a great job of taking care of our teens on the tube, scuba diving with us, basically any recreation we wanted to do. This crew worked so hard to make sure our vacation was perfect, and it was! The food and drink were incredible. Every meal, the chef went out of her way to make sure we were all completely satisfied, she really paid attention to our preference list. Every meal was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the selection of wine at dinner, as well as the after dinner cocktails. They kept us all happy with any happy hour drink we requested.
Trip of a lifetime! Tranquility is the best of the best when it comes to chartering a catamaran with a full crew. I've never seen a group work so hard to make sure our trip was perfect and everything we had hoped it would be!
We had a GREAT trip! The crew were both very gracious and accommodating hosts. The perfect mix of excellent service and attention with fun, adventure and excitement! The boat was a perfect size for the four (six with the crew) of us. The boat was very clean and well maintained....you can tell they are very particular! In a good way....I'd let them crew my boat any day! The captain set us out on a great itinerary with very little repeat from our trip in February. We wanted to spend a lot of time in the water and we accomplished that. We snorkeled and the girls did some scuba diving in a number of different beautiful locations. The meals on the boat were all delicious and very well presented. Knowing we had some non-seafood eaters on the boat, chef took the time and effort to prepare seafood for me and Donna, and an alternative meal for the girls...filet no less! The girls took "meal pics" every day that I'd be happy to share with you.
The crew were the perfect crew for our family. They anticipated our every need and found the perfect balance between tending to our wants and giving us space enough to make us feel we had the run of the boat. The two work extremely well together with skills and styles that compliment each other. Every meal the chef prepared was like eating at a top restaurant, and she was a very attentive dive master that made our newly certified kids feel right at home underwater. The captain’s knowledge of the islands helped us set the perfectly suited itinerary. Our charter was during the first week of major developments in the Coronavirus outbreak in the US, and the crew did a wonderful job helping us to relax and enjoy the Virgin Islands in that time of added stress. When we do our next charter, we would love to use this yacht anc crew. They are great!
We had an amazing vacation aboard. The boat is clean, newly renovated and absolutely beautiful sailing along the water. We had an amazing captain. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of sailing. We learned a lot and it was so great that he was willing and interested to teach us about sailing and he is a lot of fun! The chef was amazing. I still dream about her incredible meals. From her special cocktails at sunset to her pulled pork that she was making for days, I had some of the best meals of my life. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was absolutely beautiful in presentation and had incredible flavors. She also makes sure that she knows the likes and dislikes of everyone on the boat so that she can ensure that everyone has a great meal every time. This was our second boat vacation and again we loved every minute of our trip!...For me, I say without hesitation that this was the greatest vacation of all time. It actually felt more like two trips: an exotic adventure crossed with a five star food and wine excursion. ...The Boat so much larger than expected. The rooms were two to three times larger than the beds. The showers were large even though we chose to use the outdoor showers after exiting the water. We found that the community areas were perfect to hold all nine of us and there were also many places to hide and get some alone time when needed.
The captain had an amazing knack of anticipating our needs. When we wanted adventure, he gave us adventure. When we wanted to get off the boat, get off the boat, just hang and relax, he always was one step ahead of us. He was so accommodating and could easily transition between this first class butler/attendant, adventure surfer/guide, DJ, bartender, and all while safely navigating the BVIs! The chef spoiled us with super creative, beautifully plated dishes. I literally could not wait to see what she prepared next from breakfast to lunch followed by a post activity snack. Our kids still ask about the boat and crew. They were amazing teachers about the craft of sailing. Safety came first; they made it fun for the kids and relaxing for the parents. They took all of our (often disparate) plans and wishes into consideration and did so openly and graciously. Christmas 2020 was among the best for us (maybe the single best?) and the crew deserve credit and many thanks for that!dinner. ...Every meal had different proteins, varied ethnicities, fresh veggies, and amazing flavors. She constantly surprised and taught me so much about new combinations and techniques. Long story short, for some amazing food, adventure, relaxation and safe non sun-burnt fun in the islands. We cannot wait to sail with them again.
When your kids look at you on the last day and say "I'm so sad this trip is over," you know it has been an incredible experience with lifelong memories. From the moment we stepped aboard the welcoming smiles and introductions, the delicious food, the humor and the overall vibe was specular. We are a family of 6 who have traveled on numerous vacations near and far, and this has definitely topped them all!! So, a sincere thank you to the crew for a successful giving is a magical journey. This is true paradise!
After a year of looking forward to this trip, the planning, the hype, etc... The risk was we would have built things up too much. Not the case. Quite the opposite. Everything was perfect.
The cruising, snorkeling, diving, etc.. all great meals, snacks and booze all 5-star. Thank you for taking the time to make our trip so special. We all leave with a beautiful shared memory.
Our Iconic duo,
We wouldn’t know where to begin by expressing our appreciation to you for giving us the most epic experience. Every day was a greater adventure than the other and thanks to you two- our genuine feeling towards everything you have done for us is over the top!
From the service, hospitality etc the food is one thing we will never forget. The chef is one talented chef! Absolutely speechless meals created by an awesome artist. Ruby- the sweetest heart, the boat does not function without! Worlds best honeymoon holiday, thank you for everything and we mean EVERYTHING!!
Love Aboudi & Farrah
Unfamiliar with this type of travel, I wasn’t sure what to expect and somewhat anxious but I was amazed at the accommodations, activities, and hospitality on the boat. Whether underway or on anchor, the 4-member crew was attentive to make sure all of Sur L’eau’s amenities were available for our pleasure. It was obvious they had planned ahead for every event but weren’t so rigid that they didn’t take advantage of entertainment they thought we would enjoy. Advanced planning was evidenced by live entertainment onboard for birthday and anniversary celebrations. It is this type of engagement with the guests and attention to the guest’s experience that sets this crew apart. Dining is always a big part of a vacation and I have to say the chef on this boat did a fantastic job. Each and every meal was well prepared. Lunch prepared with a tuna caught while traveling between the islands was greatly appreciated by the guests.Lastly, I would like to point out the size of the amenities in the staterooms. The bed, along with the shower, restroom and stowage were a very nice size, able to accommodate us very comfortably. All in all, I can’t think of a thing I would change about my trip or the way these guys manage the boat and the guest’s experience.
Ahoy Ventana! We had an amazing week - This crew are the absolute best! The food and fun were wonderful. We laughed all week. Thank for keeping everyone entertained. Can't wait to do it again.
The charter was great. Everything worked out like a charm. No issues or complaints whatsoever. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather. Wind when we wanted it. None when we didn’t. Sunny and balmy every day. We did just about everything one could do on a 1-week BVI cruise. The crew were an excellent choice for our group considering we had kids from ages 9-56 — they were highly enthusiastic and energetic and extremely professional...
We lucked out with the boat...Everything was effectively brand new due to their complete refit last year. The scuba equipment was top notch and literally had never been used. Cabin accommodations and all heads were contemporary, clean, and comfortable. Between the fore-deck, saloon, fly bridge, and “back patio”, there was ample room for 8 guests and all their stuff to spread out.
The captain is a phenomenal and enthusiastic dive instructor/master. We felt very comfortable with his skipper skills. He’s a fun and educational captain, sharing local knowledge, experience, and stories while keeping us safe on and in the water.
The chef is also a wonderful hostess. Every meal was perfectly tailored to our group’s tastes. Meals were delicious, healthy, satisfying, and beautifully presented. It’s a testament to her culinary skills that she could convince a 9-year old to devour fish poke or chicken coconut curry like they were lucky charms. She kept the boat spit-spot the entire time—a challenge with 4 adults and 4 kids. She did not skimp on anything and was ever ready to make another Painkiller, refill your water bottle, or pour another glass of wine.
In their precious few minutes of downtime, both the crew joined in our fun, be it snorkeling, scuba diving, kite boarding, sundowners, or just playing a hand of nertz or bananagrams.
We’ve done a lot of charters in the Caribbean and had been to the BVI on 3 other occasions. This was by far our best experience and would highly recommend Viramar for either novice or experienced sailors.
Recommended for: action-sports people, scuba divers, families, young charterers.
Highlights: diving the Chikuzen wreck. Jumping off the rock in Virgin Gorda. The last day on Cooper Island Beach Club.
$31,000 + expenses
UI must say that it is difficult to convey just how welcoming and caring the crew were to each member of our family. Clearly the needs of a 10 year old boy, a 13 year old girl, and 4 adults are very very different. And yet, without being asked, both of the crew cared for each of us with the attention that we each needed. To me, a perfect example of their care and concern was when the captain brought out the fishing gear after dinner one night and asked our 10 year old if he wanted to learn how to fish. The delight on that boy’s face when he caught one, mirrored the delight in the captain’s face! It was worth a million dollars. They are fantastic teachers - The crew did the final review of a PADI scuba review course with Steve and me; Megan, our 13 year old, was just certified and they were both there supporting and teaching us with the obvious emphasis on safety. They were clearly aware of our dietary needs and preferences. Both of the crew are superb chefs; the menus were exactly what we enjoy eating and the emphasis on healthy, vegetable laden meals was wonderful. Each meal and snack was beautifully presented; variations on the meals were offered to those who had dietary limitations, and they provided kid friendly variations on the meals. Healthy, clean, food, prepared well by professional chefs - wonderful. The yacht is beautiful, and each area was clean and very well maintained. The kitchen area is kept very clean. Given the complexity of each of the meals, it is important to applaud their food storage techniques which kept the food fresh all week. That in and of itself is difficult, given the amount of food that is needed to feed 8 people several meals and ’snacks’ (which were often small meals) daily, for a week. The crew are, in my opinion, very caring, decent, loving people who are wonderful hosts, sailors and epicureans. I would sail with them again in a heartbeat. All in all, it was a very very memorable week for all of us and we are all very grateful for the opportunity to spend it with the crew and yacht. I’m hoping to do this again some time. It was fantastic.
This is our second chartered trip on a catamaran and I don't think it will ever get old. Welcome "come aboard"! The next week then becomes the perfect blur as we had so many good adventures - snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, lobster catching, naps, sightings of rays, turtles, nurse sharks, naps, island exploring, a few island bars, did I mention naps, and a wonderful manatee (GoPro's are a great invention - I highly recommend having a waterproof camera of sorts). The captain knows the VI’s very well and was always getting us to some great spots based on what we were looking for. The chef was a pure joy and every single meal, snack, and beverage was terrific and unique. The crew was excellent in all of their communications prior and post trip, and their pre-trip worksheet really allows them to understand their clients expectations, food preferences, and activity interests. We highly recommend this yacht for any of your sailing needs.
We have absolutely loved our experience aboard Sea Boss with you both. You embraced our family with your warm spirits and created the most relaxing and fun vacation we could possibly imagine. Your sincere intention to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for all was evident in every detail. From the thoughtfully designed itinerary to the exquisite meals - taking into account all of our eating quirks! We loved and noticed every wonderful aspect of the trip; beautiful table settings, on demand bumps on the tube, meals to die for filled with healthy and fresh ingredients. (how is that even possible on a boat?), tasty cocktails, perfect land excursions to stretch our legs, captains corner, patient time hanging out with our remora fish, kindly helping our kids (and us) learn about boat life and paddle board rescues!! At the end of the day life is about the connections we make and the experience we have together. You have given us the gift of the chance to form memories and family bonding that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful.
Our family of 4 recently chartered Blue Horizon. In a nutshell, from start to finish it was a great experience. We were able to tailor the charter to our specific needs. My wife and I had a spacious master BR with a nice queen bed, plenty of space and large bathroom with separate shower. Our daughters had a smaller but still comfortable stateroom with a queen bed and nice bath. The boat has excellent spaces inside and out. We particularly enjoyed the aft open dining and sofa. The fly bridge also had a nice area with a bar/separate fridge and BBQ. It also has a nice sonos sound system as well as TV’s in every room. The crew could not have been better and spoiled us to no end. The captain knows the boat and the BVI like the palm of his hands. He has a very relaxed personality and is great to deal with. Although I tried to help in anchoring/docking etc., he did it so well by himself that eventually I just said “relax and let him do it”. Even though we have visited the BVI multiple times, he had very helpful suggestions and was very responsive to our preferences. He was also amazing at helping with water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, paddle boarding and with the included Sea Bob. The chef was also spectacular. First, she is a great human being. Then the quality of ingredients, variety and preparation of the meals was remarkable. She completely tailored every meal to our low carb/healthy style including chicken, pork, grilled steak and lobster. Oh and lets not forget “happy hour” with her delicious home made salsa and a cheese/avocado dip that were both addicting. We submitted our wine and liquor preferences and they were waiting for us on arrival. Finally, she kept the entire boat perfectly clean and organized. We were truly blessed to have this crew, will miss them but also know that we will see them back next summer:) We focused on Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda. At JVD enjoyed our fave Soggy Dollar Bar- an institution since 1970. Love Savannah in VG as well as Coco Maya. In short, a unique vacation full of great moments!
To the crew of NAMASTE a beautiful ship and a great group. The captain for always answering my questions and for his knowledge. The crew for always having a smile and helping hand and also answering my questions. And the chef for her smile an each every wonderful meal!
The captain did a fantastic job of skippering the boat. He provided great recommendations when weather made us change our itinerary and always had our safety and comfort as a priority. The chef was amazing. She is a master in the galley and the menus she prepared were fantastic. She made our entire family feel at home on the water. Tiger Lily was very comfortable for our family and her condition was excellent. The selection of water toys was endless. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop during our week in the BVI's. Although weather conditions required us to modify our initial itinerary, the suggestions provided by Indi and Jo were perfect. Overall the trip was excellent and we hope to be able to do it again next year.
Thank you all so much for an amazing adventure! Everything about it was perfect. The chef was exceptional in the kitchen. The meals you cooked were beyond amazing, more than we ever could have expected. Your hospitatlity made our experience one we'll never forget. Hopefully another one very soon.
We are wrapping up a wonderful journey, sailing with you and the warm and hospitable
Caribbean Sea. Our Captain has been blessed with good winds, our chef has seduced us with
her culinary musings. Our paths crossed for a few days, full of generosity, thoughtful attention, and care.Thank you again for the time shared and a time of gifts. God’s speed on your next journey - the truth and joy of life is in it. The journey, not the destination.
